"Sure," she started to say but thought better of it. "Well, no. I have lots of opinions, actually. Dissenting from your own though..." Jen lifted a soft smile. Hal had gotten it right, at least, that she was trying to let him down gently. "Okay," she agreed easily and meandered into his living room, which over looked New York. She took a moment before sitting down on one of the sofas to admire the view. "I think I can see my apartment from over here," she grinned.
"I'm sorry," she said after that. "I'd tell you what I think, but I'm afraid you'd just repeat back to me some Oan rhetoric and I've already told you I'm not a Green Lantern." Jen turned briefly to flash him the star-shaped birth mark on her palm.
"My powers don't work like the way you think they do. Same principals, I suppose, but different application. I know what they tell you about emotions and I'm telling you it works the other way.
