Pamela glanced at the paper that actually belonged to her and nodded, "Ah, yes." What more was there to say? Put on the pleasant teacher face and pretend that she was oh-so-excited about the project for reasons she wasn't. Yes, she was happy that people were enthusiastic about helping, but Pam long gave up the idea that any who helped actually wanted to help for the reasons they said.
"I just got off work myself, heading to...well, you read," she motioned to the paper. Pam was going to be checking on the landscaping crews that were going to be there and make sure her students were the ones who stayed in charge. It kept people from prodding too much where they shouldn't be.
She forced a smile on her face, "It's just a pet project though, well, it started off that way. It's gotten much more grandiose than I anticipated."
