"If necessary, yes, I would have quietly gone back to the Helicarrier and forwarded them the necessary documentation of SHIELD's authorization to requisition the signal," Maria said evenly. Because yes, this would have happened because they were authorized to have it happen, and she'd even take the appropriate steps to do it right.
