Oh, he'd actually suspected this conversation might come up. He looked to James, waiting, but when he didn't offer a decision, he offered some assurance. "I don't wear a mask, so it makes things more difficult that way. Course, in other ways it makes things easier. But for you... I don't want you to have to remove that mask until you're ready and you've had years to build trust with a person. Whatever you decide is best, it's not going to hurt my feelings. We know what's what." He shrugged. "And maybe down the road? Who knows. But that's down the road, and we don't know what lays that way yet."
