"There is always my place," she pointed out. L.L. knew Bucky probably wouldn't be fond of idea of going to her apartment. Being at her place too often meant he might be tracked there which put her in danger. Still, she figured she'd mention it; occasionally going over wouldn't hurt anyone. "We don't have to go to one of the safe houses every time."
She pouted some. "But it's so good! You should at least give it a try. I promise I won't drag you to another musical if you don't like it." She raised her right hand with three fingers extended in a Girl Scout honor salute.
L.L. gladly took the piece of squash and popped it into her mouth. She chewed a couple of times and was about to make a lighthearted quip about the food not killing her when she noticed Bucky moving toward her. A little sound of surprise escaped her throat when her pulled her close, but settled into their dance almost immediately.
"Me too," she whispered back, a shy smile appearing on her face. She rested her head on his shoulder and swayed side to side with him.
