"I should have you watch some of my movies. Maybe take turns: one night your choice, next mine," she suggested. This was if they planned to make the dinner and a movie night into a regular occurrence, of course. L.L. was all for the idea; she loved movies, good food, and being with Bucky. It was the perfect evening in her mind. "We can introduce each other to old and modern classics."
She made a face at the mention of horror movies. "Yeah, I've never been much of a fan of slasher flicks, either." Or gore in general. She had a tendency to avoid anything that was excessively violent or gory, the only exception being the occasional war film. "Did you know they just came out with a remake of The Mummy? Apparently they're planning to do a whole revival of those monster movies." She chuckled some. "I have a feeling you'd hate it."
Her eyebrows rose in surprise. "Never? Not even some community theatre production?" She shook her head. "That's no good. We need to take you to see some musicals. There are tons on Broadway right now, including Phantom which you've got to see."
L.L. tilted her head some, trying to figure out if Bucky was pulling her leg or not by his expression. When that proved ineffective, she just shrugged and made her way back over to the counter. "I'd be impressed if you did," she remarked as she crossed her arms and leaned forward on the counter. "Hey, can I have a piece?" She pointed to the pan filled with vegetables, then to her open mouth to indicate she wanted a piece of food.
