"Here?" She looked at him incredulously. There was no way that this apartment complex was their final destination. Was they some secret tunnel to a hideout located under the building or something like that? She got off the bike and looked around the garage for any indication her hunch might be correct. Nothing stood out. That didn't mean it wasn't there, though. She looked back at Bucky, expecting him to switch a hidden lever or push a button, but he just stood by the exit waiting patiently.
When she finally realized he wasn't going to make a hidden door magically appear, L.L. left the garage and followed him into the building. She grew increasingly confused as they made their way higher and higher into the building before stopping at a door on the top floor.
"A penthouse suite?" She remarked mostly to herself as she waited for Bucky to unlock the apartment. She stepped forward with a little reluctancy when he motioned her to follow him in. Were they breaking into someone's apartment? Because there was no possible way that this was his--
"You live here?" Her eyes widened with surprise at the verbal confirmation. She moved around the room, marveling at the decor and well-kept room. This place was nothing like the ones she'd seen before. "This place is beautiful. Nicer than mine, even." She turned to face him, her hands on her hips and a grin on her face. "Well, I'll be. You've been holding out on me."
