L.L.'s smile widened when she noticed the slight blush come to Bucky's cheeks. A small giggle escaped her lips, both proud and amused by the results her words had on him. No wonder he liked to tease her so much; watching someone blush because of something you said was actually pretty fun. Especially when that someone was usually so adept at hiding his emotions behind a mask.
She quirked an eyebrow. "A bit of a ride?" Where in the world could Bucky be taking her that would require so much driving? Didn't he plan to just take her back to his place? Or maybe, just maybe, he was actually going to take her out to eat? She mentally shook her head at that thought. Doubtful. He didn't like being out in public longer than he had to be and sitting around in one spot for a long period of time was probably even less appealing to him. So where were they going?
Slipping her boot back on, L.L. stood up and allowed Bucky to cut off the tags before following him to the register. L.L. was about to object when Bucky took out the money to pay, but the transaction occurred far too quickly for it to make much of a difference.
"What do you think?" She asked with a grin as she pulled on her new gloves. "Take me to your faithful steed, oh brave knight. And please try not to crash it."
