L.L. just shook her head and moved her hand to his chin, coaxing him to look at her. The pain in his eyes hurt her to see, but she would never stop looking into them no matter how much distress it might cause her. She cared far too much to ever make him think his pain wasn't deserving of her attention.
"I don't care about that," she told him with a small smile. "What happened... that's in the past. And I told you, I've been with older." Her hand moved to his cheek, her thumb stroking it gently. "I love you."
