"I cook Spam," he teased back, shooting her a smile. He finished off his lo mein, noting she had fallen silent. He looked at her, wondering what she was thinking or worried about. What had made her go quiet like that?
And then there it was. She wanted to know about Natasha. He grabbed a box of General Tso's and popped it open, leaving it in it's box shape as he poked at it with his chopsticks. What to tell L.L.? The truth? A lie that she might find out when she asked James?
"Department X ordered me to train their best Red Room operative back in the 1950s." He looked up at her. "Natalia Romanova was the best agent they had. And I helped make her better." He set the box aside and sighed. "Ever since then we've been close, comforting each other when we needed it over the decades." He shrugged. "Her and Cap were the ones who helped free my mind from the Russians."
He was silent for another moment before he looked at her. "What else would you like to know about her? She's not the most forthcoming of people."
