He noted how long the pause was and arched a brow, wondering if she had ever seen a man with his shirt off. Or maybe she was in shock that his left arm appeared to be normal with the prosthesis skin. When she held the water out he took it and drank it slowly.
As if on cue, his stomach growled with her question and he grinned a bit. "I think that's a yes." At her offer to go get it and that he should sit down, he nodded. He could endure a lot but hauling the boxes up, even with the dolly, was still tough work and he was only human.
So he plopped himself down on the couch and sipped some more water. "Chinese sounds good."
