The threat, whatever it was, had passed. With Loki's fairly innocuous movement, it had exploded into an impressive display of green sparks. Damian shielded his eyes for a second then took another look off the edge. There was no sudden wind or darkened shadow. That, apparently, was that. Had it really been the personification of fear? No, the bird was probably speaking metaphorically. After all, none of the events had been particularly frightening. Still, hopefully the rest of the night would be entirely uneventful.
"I'm not hungry," Damian replied, "but we can get a snack." Because no doubt Loki would keep insisting until he gave in. "We should also do something about the library." The books were probably still scattered about. It would be easier to clean up the mess rather than give explanations.
