The Manor was far enough away from the busy city lights that you could look up and see the stars in the sky. The roof provided an excellent vantage point and the summer constellations were all easily in view. At the edge of the grounds was a small patch of woodlands, more than a cluster of trees but less than a forest proper. On summer nights like this, the outdoors could be truly relaxing. Provided there wasn't an unseen invisible supernatural assailant scaling the walls. Damian easily thumbed off the cap of the water jug and moved close beside Loki as if to sit down.
It was clear that Loki was, or more accurately, wasn't talking about his experiences with HYDRA and a bit of guilt twisted in Damian's stomach. It had been left for far too long. Definitely a personal failing. Still, it was nothing Damian could really discuss at least not with the omissions that stood between them. Besides, Damian was almost positive that once he awoke Loki wouldn't want to discuss much of what had transpired, either then or on this night. Damian could understand that.
Rather than sitting down, Damian reached out to grab the back of Loki's shirt (to make sure he didn't fall off the roof in surprise) and with his other hand neatly brought the water jug over Loki's head and went to pour it out
