It was odd that Damian referred to his other brothers by their last names. A mental distancing of their relation in the family. Loki just wasn't sure why. There was a lot to speculate, but it was difficult to match the other two's character with the reasons. He didn't know them really at all.
Loki took his phone back, happily setting Damian's ringtone to Bittersweet Symphony. Apparently he had a picture of Damian already, a profile of him driving. That would have been during their last road trip, when Damian had wisely declined to let Loki drive.
"Heh. Distance without distance. Can't say I blame him." Loki wondered if that was due to Damian's father. Bruce Wayne seemed nice enough, but Loki couldn't shake off a feeling of nervousness around him. At first he thought it was because of... other reasons. Now he was pretty sure it was something to do with the man himself just not being something to trifle with verbally, so he had decided he should always be polite to him. Loki stayed away from Asgard much of the time because of similar people that made him feel nervous enough to stay polite, people he couldn't get good footing around. Or maybe Dick Grayson of the Wayne's had other reasons to want to be in a police department that had undergone one of the most wide spread internal corruption investigations on the Eastern seaboard in the last 15 years.
He would turn that over in his curious mind later. He refocused quickly on Damian. "How's Wayne Corp handling things? I imagines it's patronage was fairly spooked with the recent events. Strategizing and taking opportunity of chaos, I trust?"
"Hey Damian, I can still stay the night, right? I know it was offered before, but I was a prat and got nabbed. I can infringe on your good graces?" He stacked up three cracker sandwiches and at them all at once.
