He really couldn't remember the last time he'd had this much fun. Hill's swift, if huffy, departure had left him in what could be considered Central Command of HQ, and he'd quickly made himself comfortable.
The doors were reinforced steel, and he'd easily slipped his way through several backdoor's in the server to take over control of other corridors that lead to the space. He was now safely ensconced behind several layers of bullet/fire/riot proof material.
And now the real fun could begin. Cracking his knuckles, he opened the channel to the PA system and announced, "Riddle me this, what's smarter than you, better than you and faster than you?" A pause. "The Riddler, of course! And now who is in control of your state of the art server? The Riddler, once again!"
He spotted activity on a screen and grinned, scooting his chair over to inspect it. "And goodness gracious, looks like the cavalry's rolled in! Mr. U.S.A. himself!" He went silent as Steven spoke, and then once more picked up the channel again.
"Rousing, wasn't that? Almost makes you want to start setting off fireworks." Eddie leaned over and typed in something, a code for a lower level. ".....If you just heard screams from Level 1, don't worry, unless you're secretly a dirty HYDRA traitor, you're still alive. Goodness, those turrets were effective, weren't they?"
