Re: Teams converge
Stephen didn't know who she was, but before he could look down his thoroughly aristocratic nose at her, she was directing his attention to the two patients on the bed, and he moved to check the beds - quickly, but he'd learned how to take quick vitals in his years of medical studies. "Ideally, we would have a team, but these are not ideal circumstances," he said as he finished with the one and shifted to check the other. "They need to be supported," he said as he stooped, judged pulse and responsiveness. They were mercifully both unconscious and seemed likely to stay that way, from the lack of response to his prodding.
He didn't answer L.L. right away, looking over the two beds contemplatively. "Yes," he said to Loki with only a glance at the the bottle. "Ten millimeters in two syringes and be prepared to drive it into their throat if they start wiggling."
He stretched his hands, and circles of blue light shimmered on his palms, matching light strengthening beneath the two bodies. He lifted his hands, and the bodies came up off their beds, laying on discs of blue. "This will have to serve," he said. "I can bring them through a portal this way -- Others?" he suddenly asked, looking between Loki and Speedy. "How many?"
