Re: Dr Strange!
L.L was silent as Loki spoke about James, expression serious. She didn't want to talk about their friend's current condition and, honestly, Loki didn't need to be distracted by it. There were far too many things for them to worry about at the moment. Right now, all of their concentration needed to be on getting out of this god-forsaken hellhole alive and intact. Something, she knew, would be a herculean task if HYDRA had anything to say about it.
When Loki moved forward to grab Strange's hand, she was right behind him with an attentive eye to make sure he remained stable on his feet. He seemed to be doing well on his own despite not having the use of his legs for several weeks which L.L. was thankful for. It would make traveling the tunnels that much easier.
Her head quickly jerked toward the direction the gunfire came from. Her attention then moved to Strange when he commanded Loki to stop. The golden sphere formed around the two teenagers and she knew before he even explained that it was a magical shield. She was glad to have the shield around Loki because, honestly, the poor thing needed it with the state he was in. Her, however? Not so much. She could create her own shield, one that she knew full well could deflect bullets at point blank range. She was no where near as skilled at Dr. Strange and likely never would be, but she was capable enough to protect herself.
"You don't need to worry about me," she told him. She flashed him a reassuring smile that mimicked the ones Loki would often give when trying to make the situation seem less dire than it was. "Focus your energy on Loki and getting us out of here. I can take care of myself."
