He took her phone and easily pried the back of it off. Taking the battery out, he got to the SIM card and moved over to the computer before plugging it in to a specialized USB port. After a few keystrokes all the numbers popped up on the screen and he took the SIM card out. He then pulled a lighter out of his pocket and, holding the card in his left hand, burned it. Once he was satisfied it was destroyed, he moved over to another drawer and tugged out another phone and brought it over. Plugging it into the computer, he uploaded the numbers onto it before saving the numbers on his computer and unplugging the phone.
Looking at L.L., he held the phone out to her. "New phone. In a week you'll be getting another one unless this is over by then." But his voice it was clear he doubted it. "Not taking the risk of HYDRA figuring out who you are and tracking you via GPS of your old phone." He picked up the SIM cardless phone and moved over to a box and dropped it in. "Had this been a few years ago I would have crushed your phone and dropped it in the river. But this box should prevent any signal from coming to your phone to trace it."
He grinned. "See? Trust me." He moved over to a small closet and pulled out what could best be described as a flesh colored sleeve complete with a glove attached. Yanking his shirt off, he pulled the sleeve on and made sure it was secured before pulling his shirt back on.
"Let's go get you some food for your delicate pallet," he teased, trying to keep the mood light.
