A little curiosity, but not pursued. He wasn't giving them critical looks like any of the Batfamily would have, trying to analyze and figure out the ties. He just accepted that answer for what it was and what they were willing to give, nodding. "Well, glad he has you looking after him as well. You're the one bringing all the books then?"
Mia asked her question and he listened to Jason, then laughed a little while folding his arms when she turned right around and asked him. "Keeping himself heavily medicated. Which means he overdid it while someone wasn't around. He's been getting better every day." Steve looked over to him. "If he keeps healing like he is, he'll be out and about making hell for people again in no time." He hadn't asked him if he was going to go after Hydra again. He wasn't even assuming it. He'd talk about what Jason wanted to do after Steve made sure he was mended. Red Hood had been hurt helping him. It was only right in his thinking to make sure Jason didn't lose a leg for that.
The oven beeped, and Steve motioned to excuse himself to the kitchen to check the rolls and pull them out of the oven, keeping contact with the pan brief enough that he didn't bother with an oven mitt. That at least was well timed so he didn't seem to be nosing in their interaction.
