Damian frowned as Loki detailed out his concerns. Belatedly, Damian hoped he looked more like a petulant rich kid denied an exciting adventure than a stymied vigilante who was rapidly running out of options. A rich kid would probably be more crestfallen. Though it was hardly as if the pair's travels had been something out of a guidebook. Loki should know that Damian didn't exactly fit into the mold of a trust-fund baby.
"My father has that effect on people," Damian agreed, though his tone of voice made it sound more like a begrudgingly concession. Even he couldn't refute the intensity that his father possessed. It was one of the man's greatest assets and the intimidation factor had yet to wear off despite the number of times Damian had seen it in action. Loki hadn't even seen the half of it.
Damian tried to work through his options. He could always try to follow Loki-- which might be easier said than done. Stopping Loki didn't seem like an option especially since there was a pressing time table. He could, Damian realized, get other people involved. It was hardly his first choice but it was better than leaving Loki to his own devices. The question was whether there would be enough time.
