"Medicinal advances," Steve muttered to himself, just a self-reflecting note of amusement as he stood and head that way to find the medicine.
Steve shook his head, still showing quiet disapproval as he walked back in the room, having only half-caught the exchange between Red Hood and Eddie. "It's done," he noted. "We'll move forward as we can and while they are seeking Hydra out, we'll continue to search other venues as well. It at least doesn't leave things entirely idle. Eddie has a lot of stake in assuring they are dealt with permanently so he isn't looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life. So we will try it his way." But he gave Jason a look from an angle Eddie couldn't see. There were definitely concerns the two would have to counter in case it didn't pan out like Eddie thought.
He then went back to treating injuries. Eddie had already warned of the burning, so he didn't think it was needed before applying the nu-skin. "You want a wrap for the ribs?"
Then he asked for Jason to shuffle so he could work on scrubbing the blood stains out of the couch cushions, laying clean towels down underneath so he wasn't laying in wet chemical after. Meanwhile, he asked, "Is there anyone you want to call or notify? Family, or anything?" Usually close friends and family wanted to know if you'd been shot and were on the mend over something. Red hood hadn't made any obvious moves to contact any friends or family, but he did disappear from time to time and Steve didn't ask him where he went on those occasions. So he thought it might be possible.
