Re: Helena & Tim
His maturity was refreshing and she actually laughed, though it only lasted a moment. "Most of them are. There's always a brat or two out there to ruin it," she teased.
He rambled on about his future plans and she was impressed to hear about his interests. "Does business actually interest you?" Helena had spent her whole life pursuing the wants of her family and though he seemed to have considered his future strongly, she still had to ask. He was still young, he could easily carve his own future.
When Tim began to speak Italian that smile returned. Even if he was a little rusty, the language rolled naturally off his tongue. Oh I am well aware of Dick's taste she mused, smart enough not to comment outloud. "Your mother taught you well. How many languages do you speak?"
She would have preferred to carry on the conversation in Italian, but he seemed eager to return to English after showing off a little. "Right, a friend." After all this time, she supposed that was what she would consider Dinah. She would fight for her, die for her, that's what constituted as a friendship, right? "We don't talk about our personal lives often."
