The exit was looming closer and for a moment, Helena thought it might be best to make a break for it. At least until she was nearly mowed over. Her brow furrowed slightly, trying to decide just what sort of game he was playing at.
"Haven't seen her," she replied, shooting a look at the exit. The manor was a large place, but it was safe. What did it matter if a kid was lost in one of the many wings? But those blue eyes were wide and imploring and she found it impossible to keep heading towards the exit.
With a sigh, she asked, "When did you last see her?"
