Even aside from the Maria Stark Foundation, Stark Industries gave generously to various projects around New York, mostly offering alternate energy forms to worthy causes. As at least one of those things was very near to his heart, Tony swung by the project in question on his way home from work, and seriously did not like what he saw on the inevitable tour of the site.

"You're doing that to the wires, that's going to...You don't even have a failsafe, and I think you've grounded it by sheer dumb luck. They really let you onto these things the first day of trade school? Give me that - no, really, give me that," he said, taking the soldering iron and the pliars out of the shocked kid's hands. "And three steps back, I don't like people hovering over me while I work.
He examined the half-built wall, the exposed struts snaked through with various wires, and picked out the ones he needed at an eyeball, and set to work connecting them to the light switch. He'd been doing this since he was about three, after all.
