Luthor was waiting for her when the elevator door opened to the very last sub-level of the facility. "It's ready." Saying nothing more, he turned and moved through the hallway at his usual brisk pace. "You will have at your command the first of many. As you know, I've re-worked and enhanced its powers, beyond what the original had under his possession." As he approached a door, Lex pressed his thumb against the small console in the wall. A series of beeps sounded, and a modulated voice. "Access Granted. Welcome, Lex Luthor."
Stepping inside, he moved further into the room, which had thick, ballistic style glass in the middle, sectioning part of it off. Behind the glass, a cloning tube stood, soft lights appearing in a pattern along the top. "The first of many," he murmured, gaze locked on the tube. "And with its success, so many more doors opened. I realize now that with the first clone, I only glimpsed a small portion of what was possible. Now?" Gaze moving to Talia, a small smirk formed. "Now I see everything, and have it at my command."
