Re: Dinah + Maria
She couldn't help the breath of a laugh, as she looked over the crowds, and pitched her voice low because there were very few, even here, who knew why Dinah's significant other might not be happy about holidays. "Given there's at least one criminal in Gotham who enjoys matching crime to holiday like a table runner, I'm not sure I blame him."
Groaning outright, Maria lifted her beer to her temple, grimacing a little, because yeah, that sounded exactly like Phil, and he hadn't even been that specific about what he needed to finish up. "He knows he's not allowed to get Steve to sign things anymore," she said. "And he's mostly too shy to cosplay. On the other hand, it is the Fourth." Now she was going to have to keep an eye out for Phil so to head him off if he turned up with a shield that wasn't his SHIELD badge.
There was a glow to Dinah, Maria though, something softer around her smile, as if she was still a little surprised to remember all that had happened. It suited her down to her sensible shoes, and spread out to make Maria happy to see her happy. It helped that she wasn't obnoxious about ring or the rest of the marriage deal. "I don't think anything matches Wayne Manor except Wayne Manor," she said wryly. "You'll just have to claim a room for your stuff, and make the place look a little more normal." It probably wouldn't, though; it would still be casual furniture in a place that was anything but casual.
She shrugged as she ate some more chips. "Not specifically," she said. "Though I certainly wouldn't say no to a place like that for a SHIELD safehouse. Quiet, clean neighborhood, but close enough to any action that might go down in Gotham." Not that she was fishing, entirely. It was still Dinah's place.
