"...Right." Tim could think of a bunch of sarcastic comebacks, but again, it was best not to provoke Jason. Red hood was hot-blooded, looking for fights, finding insults where none were meant. There wasn't anyway Tim would win it, even if he was able to be wittier and find the deeper needle. Jason was a fighter, in build and ruthlessness. He was the one who always made sure to swing last in a fight.
So it was all a tactical retreat for Tim, keeping his mouth shut and looking down at the warehouses, listening when Jason finally spoke and trying to ignore the awkwardness of being on the ledge with someone who had ripped the family's hearts' to shreds...
... Or at least the ones who had hearts.
Damian earned a look of open disdain from the Red Robin. He had been set on not answering Jason's question. Again, not provoking. But certainly not denying when the answer was obvious. The question was definitely more the how. His frown only deepened when Damian dropped by on the other side of him, and he leaned back, trying to keep both of them in his peripheral. This was not a good place to be.
