Loki looked up with a wide smile. "That depends who you ask. I happen to like the author, though. I think the lady selling the books does, too."
The lady stammered, turning red. Loki bat a hand at her with what looked like a good natured smile. "No worries! You shouldn't be ashamed of liking a good fantasy of love! Especially if there's good plot between the ruts." He handed over the money and scooped up his pile of books, eyes sparkling. "I suppose you're familiar with the author, too, sir? I'm afraid I can't part with it. There's a stoic machine of a fellow I intend to leave it lying about for once I'm done. You would have to convince me someone is in more dire need of its contents."
