Ollie & Open
He was happy to help Mia's organization in any way he could. Most days, that including writing a blank check and telling her to have a good time and do good, but days like today it was even better. Oliver had been put in charge of the Chili Table which he was pretty certain Mia had only invented just to give him something to do.
Oh, but if she thought he wouldn't go all out for her event, she clearly didn't know Oliver Queen. He had no less than five pots of chili going-- one over a propane cooker, one in a slow cooker, and two already finished, their heavy duty pots (because who needed serving dishes anyway?) bundled up in towels to keep their heat.
Each was labeled as well ranging from spicy, extra spicy and call a fireman (Oliver's personal favorite), with the remaining two pots labeled as vegan and vegetarian respectively.
He was even happy to help ladle out food and to encourage his favorite mix of toppings (chopped onions and green onions, a little cheese but no oyster crackers) from the slew that were presented on the other side of the table. In fact, Ollie couldn't vouch for how Mia was doing; but he was having himself a grand old time; and the grin plastered on his face said it all.
