"Well, you're amusing." She added, but her smile was fond. Not many people found humor in Bruce-- in the sense of comedy that he cared to share with those closest to him, but Dinah even found humor in the other things he said and did; and she had never been afraid to laugh with him or at him (gently). Some of her favorite memories of him were always when he made her laugh; and then was confused by what exactly had extracted that reaction. She was certain by now that her theory that he ran the scenario over and over in his head trying to figure out exactly what had made her laugh and how he could do it again were entirely correct-- and that somehow made it more amusing.
And a little sad. But that was true of all things related to Bruce.
She let him lead her across the dance floor, and chuckled when he stiffened his jealous streak with a kiss. "Of course." She said, mischief in her eyes, "But that doesn't mean you won't be grumpy. Or that you're not already planning to outbid anyone in the room. You'd better to be careful, Wayne, or people are going to start thinking you're possessive."
