"Right, the cry that goes up both far and near." He said as though he'd only just remembered the dog's name when he had one foot over her on his way to the kitchen. Thankfully, she didn't seem to be the type to get mad when a fella forgot her name. Lucky Ollie.
"Whatever you're having." He said, stepping away from the counter to grab the oyster crackers down from the pantry, and sprinkled a handful on the top of the chili before offering the box over to Mia as well.
"I would give you the recipe, but it's a Queen family secret. So secret that it's never been written down." He joked, resuming his position leaning against the counter. "I could probably write it down if you wanted it though."
Ollie cast a glance out the back window at the snow and wrinkled his nose distastefully, "Remind me again why we left sunny California? You know they named this thing Jonas. I think they're just doing it to screw with me now."
