The trip had been pleasant, with her enjoying the car ride with her shoes off and bare feet stretched out the window to let the air tickle her toes. And mm, the smells... leather car seats, Bruce, earthy scents and the tantalizing taste of sea that became stronger the closer they came to their destination.
When she saw the accommodations her lips turned up in a smile. Seclusion. No interruptions. Simplicity. More than enough to keep them enjoying each other's company in the remote and beautiful landscape. It was warm and perfect.
So her blue eyes were glittering when she looked over her shoulder at Bruce, having tipped out of the car and trot a little ahead to look at the accommodations. "I think food. If I settle in you might have trouble prying me up again." She'd snacked of course to tide herself over, but the meal Bruce had hinted at reminded her of the craving quickly. "Besides, it's not often you brag about food. It's gotta be something." Because Bruce ate for fuel. Getting him to eat for enjoyment was a challenge at times.
