"I forgot I'd told him that," Tony mused as Dick went ahead and proved that he was not at all interested in helping get him out of the hole, trying to keep Pepper in the corner of his eye and judge exactly how mad she was. She had her lips pressed together and was shaking a little, so that might be laughter, because she wasn't getting all flushed and yelling. "I think that's an okay thing to tell a twelve-year old," Tony had to argue, blustering up to his defense. "It teaches him a that a healthier body image is much better all around, so he might not contribute to the culture of the times. I'm just surprised you're not protesting the tipsy part," he pointed out. Which was probably why he couldn't remember telling Dick that, come to think of it.
Bruce could usually be counted on to help him out, but not this time. He made a face at his oldest friend. "And that's what happens when I'm asked to give advice on sex to someone who shouldn't know anything about it," he announced. By that point, though, Pepper was laughing, and he felt safe enough to say, "I have empirical data to back it up, too."
"They're definitely not nippy," he chimed in agreement with Pepper. "A bit clingy, but they were literally starved for attention," a fact that still made him frown reflexively. "But that's something that they should relax about once they realize that new people are good people, and no one's going to hit them or leave them locked out." They'd have to be a little careful with them at Wayne Manor, leaving them down in the carriage house, but the thought that a little playing with Dick would settle them - because that tended to settle everyone, particularly when Legos were involved.
Tony found himself attacked on two fronts, and backed down from Dinah a lot quicker than he possibly should have - though he looked to Bruce to ask, "Did you teach her that one, or is that one of the ones that she came with?" Cake was offered, and taken with a grin. "I should point out that I am much better with sharing that I had been before," he said, and proved it by absently nudging blocks to Pepper, trying to figure what she wanted badly enough to scramble across the floor for. "I'm also good with engines and mixing drinks," he added, grinning at Dick and his tracks and train.
"But I'm not bringing all my things, just what I really need," Tony explained to Pepper with some truth to the matter, even as he settled down to start building his new factory, but split his attention between what he was doing and what Pepper was still working on. "You know what would be awesome, besides finishing installing JARVIS in the manor?" he said. "Finding that Lego Death Star I know I saw when Dick carted in the boxes. I think I might need it. Or actually you need it, there's pieces in it that will totally make that castle, though it will make it suspiciously like Doomstadt, come to think of it, but never mind that part, just throw some more pink blocks in there."
