Bishop Charity Reading and Auction Who:Invited guests, New York society, various members of the press (or anyone who decides to crash). What: A fundraiser for New York children's hospitals featuring hors d'oeuvres, an open bar, a reading, and a silent auction. Guest are encouraged to dress as literary characters. Where:The Library Hotel When: Saturday, 7pm.

Madison and Vine restaurant:
Most of the tables have been cleared away to make space in the center of the room. Servers circulate with food and champagne and there's an open bar for anyone wanting a cocktail. A string quartet plays in the corner to provide ambiance.
The Reading Room:
The main event is held here about an hour after guests arrive. Tables display the silent auction items as you approach the room. The auction items include the typical (jewelry, spa experiences) as well autographed books and ARCs from Bishop Publishing's most popular titles. Inside the room, chairs have been arranged facing a small stage. Derek Bishop (dressed as Mr. Darcy) will give a speech. Clarissa Malley will read from The Midnight Awakening, the upcoming sequel to her best-selling YA novel, The Dark Hour (to be released in July 2015 - pre-order your copy of the teen sensation from Bishop Publishing now!).
The Patio:
For anyone seeking a more intimate retreat, the rooftop patio is available. A small bar has been set up in the corner for your convenience.
