She would have laughed if she could, but sadly no sound would have come out. Even Rose knew better than to hype Lian up on sugar because more often than not, she would have to deal with her, too. And Lian hopped up on sugar was only funny for so long before she started to crash.
Rose flicked her cigarette away just before they walked into the community centre and plopped down in her usual seat next to Roy. She was usually silent in these meetings anyways; observing people and their mannerisms. Most everyone here annoyed her, save for Roy.
Continuing to watch Lian had been conditional on her coming to these meetings. It didn't mean she had to take part, though. That was optional. Besides, Rose had never really been a team player. Usually, she choked back some of the gross coffee by putting way too much sugar in it (still disgusting sludge, though) and making sarcastic quips to everyone.
Today, though, felt a bit different. While she listened to the vapid blonde girl, she began writing down her contribution. She smiled impishly when she was done. She smirked at Roy, and raised her hand.
"Rose!" The meeting ...guru? conductor? whatever guy said. He seemed happy she was finally taking part. "You have ...something to say?" He was probably hoping it wasn't rude as usual.
She held up her notepad. "I did drugs." She flipped to the next page. "Because I kill." And the next page: "Actually, I'd probably kill all of you because you're all stupid." Next: "Except Roy. He's cool." Last: "Also, the coffee is shit."
