Thread: Superfriends! Who: Kara and Conner Where: Closest mall to Smallville When: Saturday, February 7th What: Hanging out Rating: G
The mall was fairly crowded for a Saturday. There were groups of teenage girls going from clothing store to clothing store. A bunch of teenage guys hanging out at the entrances or loitering in the food court. There were families with small children and the occasional elderly couple shuffling around. There was nothing remarkable about the scene which was what Kara expected from Kansas.
She didn't get a chance to visit often but Kara knew she'd be welcome with open arms. Smallville was always peaceful, like something out of a picture, but she was a city girl at heart. Besides, she always felt bad putting Ma out. Kara never left without taking homemade food back with her. Not to mention that Conner had his own schedule, school, the Titans, and everything else. Just like Clark, they each had their own life.
But it was nice to get together every now and then. Kara wandered back to Conner carrying two grande drinks from Starbucks. "Sorry about that," she said with a smile. "You would not believe that line."
