Maria wasn't sure what she could actually relay to SHIELD because of this - so a society girl and a society boy had unresolved feelings that even she could see: so what? She had far more interesting fare to relate in the days since she'd been in Gotham, and gossip wasn't that much of an interest for SHIELD unless it somehow turned out that these two were superhumans or vigilantes.
