Bruce chuckled weakly in agreement with her. In all honesty, Bruce's knowledge of Hollywood was largely academic, but that was enough to understand the formulae at work here. "Back just as quickly as she disappeared," he confirmed, toasting her with his martini. He almost wished it actually did contain alcohol.
Her advice surprised him; she didn't have to offer it, and it was awfully kind of her to attempt to comfort this apparently spoiled man with very first world problems. He smiled in response, nodding his thanks. "Maybe we'll both fall over together, hm?" His smile turned wry. "We're complicated people, Agent. Well, maybe I'm as shallow as a fishbowl, but Selina..." he chuckled. "Anyway - thank you. For the conversation and company, as well. I hope I wasn't too tedious." The corner of his mouth curved upward in a smirk.
At her last comment, he laughed loudly. "True enough."
