Luthor chuckled, glancing around at the crowd. "It's good that you can restrain yourself at times, Bruce. Shows promise." Not enough promise.
As always, he was in working mode, and he focused on Bruce's slightly stupid grin, a plan forming. "You and I should have a meeting soon. Nothing business related, of course, I know you try to avoid that as much as possible, you scoundrel." He smirked, patting the other man on the back, voice lowering. "The next time you're in Metropolis, let me know, I have a new private club I think you might enjoy."
"You know, Wayne, it's a pity you aren't a politics man," he said, smirking more. "I'd win in a landslide with you as my vice president." Luthor hid his inner disgust. The idea of a waste of brain cells like Wayne with any kind of political power was nauseating. "Of course, that position calls for being up before Noon."
