She pulled the scarf up over her mouth as she headed down the path. The bag over her shoulder feeling a bit heavier against the cold. Normally she would have driven down to the Carriage House where Tim lived, but she'd had one more stop to make before heading down to see her boyfriend. The stop meant that her car was currently in front of the main house. And somehow, as she approached the door, wishing that she'd worn a sweater, she had the feeling that she was going to regret that decision when it was time to leave.
Upon arriving the structure of the manor had loomed overhead casting a shadow under the mid-morning sun. She hadn't told Dinah that she'd be here today, Tim was the only one who knew. And as it was she was running a little bit late. But coming back from Greece meant that she had presents for people, and as long as she was here, she was going to deliver the two she had for the household members. One was for Tim, the other had been for Mr. Pennyworth, the Wayne family butler. She didn't know him that well, but he was nice to her, and since she seemed to either be spending time at Tim's or he was spending time at her's (or her dad's in Long Island) she'd picked him up a bottle of wine and snuck it back into the country via customs, to say thank you for putting up with the visits.
But it was also the reason she was now standing here freezing her butt off as she reached the door and knocked with a gloved hand. Admittedly she would have been freezing anyway, the backpack on her back with clothes in it gave her a little bit of coverage unlike the bow case in her hand (because she hadn't wanted to leave it in her car where it might get cold), but still... Right decision. Wrong weather. She shifted her weight from foot to the other, ringing the bell this time. She was going to be an Arrowcicle at this rate.
