Re: Barbara and Dick
She didn't need to be a seer to know that eventually this would happen. It was as common as breathing back home. She didn't know how he always managed to find her, but somehow he did. Trying to avoid the prince was something she'd learned years ago was futile. Still, she hadn't expected him to slip passed his protection and come down here. Though she probably should have, one didn't need to see things to know that.
She casually took a sip from her mug, looking at him for a moment and swallowing before replying. "Taking in a bit of local culture? Trying to get away from Kings and princes who make life harder for the poor guards who try to protect them?" She smirked a bit taking another sip, steadying herself mentally when he asked if she was well. She held the mug between her hands and offered him a smile - one that came naturally with much practice. "Yes, I'm fine. Why do you ask?"
He knew her too well... she'd been having Sights since arriving. And the fact that she needed to make this decision didn't help. The enemy they were all waiting to show its faces didn't help either... But showing weakness, when so many people thought that she was a fake, what would that prove?
