He nodded. "Some things are best left in stories," he agreed. "But at least what's his face showed up and saved the day, right?" He gave a small smile. "I know I'm grateful as he saved my life." And in a way Thor had saved Donald's life. Without him, Donald would have died from the dragon. Hell, Donald might not even have existed if not for Thor.
"Well, some competition is healthy I think," he said. "It can push us to do more and find more things with our jobs. Though that could be said of curiosity alone."
He took a sip of his drink and shook his head. "General practice. But some parents trust me enough to take care of their children and I can't turn away a person in need." At the question of his practicing, he smiled a bit. "Several years. I took a bit of a sabbatical for a time but returned to practicing not long after that mess in Broxton."
He couldn't help but smile in amusement at her blushing. "That was a bit forward of me," he conceded, his eyes twinkling in amusement. "But...I would like to have dinner with you sometime if you're up for it?"
