Who: Jemma and Mia What: An attempted mugging, a hero steps in. When: September 10 Where: Streets of NY, on Jemma's way home Status: Closed, incomplete. Rating: Low
This time she'd really done it. Even with the alarm she had set the time had gotten away from Jemma and she'd wound up staying at the lab until the guards came by to check that everyone had cleared out for the evening. Of course upon finding her there, Tom - one of the agents who walked the halls - had laughed. How many times had they come upon Jemma or Jemma and Leo both sitting in the lab after hours?
Still, tonight she was pretty sure she should have left when Fitz had suggested they get dinner. But the analysis of the latest samples - of the latest compartimentalized project from above - were almost done and she'd wanted to finish them before leaving. And she didn't want to give it to them. "The only thing in here are technical readings that you wouldn't understand," she said, her voice steady. After you had an assassin in your apartment - one who now you'd given a key to the front door so he'd stop using the window - was a mugger supposed to scare you? But they demanded it and tried to pull it from Jemma, wrenching her arm in the process. "Ow. Alright, take the bloody thing," she said with a frown.
That was when one of the two pulled a knife. Jemma backed up a bit and ducked when he started coming towards her. "Bloody hell..." she tried to remember what Zinda had drilled into her...
