Selina chewed her bottom lip slightly, thinking for a second. She knew Eddie was around after talking him to him earlier - and it sounded as if he was planning something. What, she didn't know. She was in two minds as to whether to inform Batman or not, it seemed silly at this early stage and as much as she hated it, she did have a little loyalty to the rogues. If only because Eddie always paid well for her services. This SHIELD news was interesting though. She knew who they were, obviously, everyone knew what they did. Trying to coral a bunch of superhumans and the like to further their own ends. They'd never tried anything in Gotham though - but it sounded and looked like they would soon make a move.
"Good." she answered simply. "Sounds like things have been relatively calm." For all Selina had made her name as a thief, she'd never wished chaos on Gotham, she did have her own sense of morality after all - even if it was little grey.
Letting out a small sigh she took one more tentative step towards him. They were dancing again, and although his body language was always guarded she could sense that he wanted to be as close to her as she did to him. Her eyes dipped down for a second. She could smell him, sweat and metal. He smelt like a furnace, unnatural. It was familiar and Selina's eyes closed for a second. Six months counted for nothing. It was animalistic. Part of her hated herself for feeling this way over a man like him, she didn't even know what he looked like, who he was without the mask. He was her enemy - but he knew who she was and he tolerated her. Selina couldn't help but let out a small laugh, looking up again suddenly.
"You know what the strangest thing about coming back is?"
She couldn't stop herself, her body moving closer to his with a sway. It was magnetism, an ache. It was stupid. But Selina couldn't help herself. Six months, six months, and she was back again.
