"Black is sooo last season," Peter started and shrugged, "I was thinking of channeling a bit of Captain America and Superman, only with a twist. I think it works for me. Besides, black makes me look sick." It was mostly in joking. He did like the colors red and blue, and that was the basis of what he wanted. Was it such a crime for a hero to wear their favorite colors?
He eyed the whip at her waist cautiously and then her, "Or, you know, I like to stick out. Be an individual. My mom always told me I was special." If he weren't wearing a mask, she'd see him grinning. So long as that whip wasn't come out at him, he could joke around a bit. Maybe he could stop her from impending crimes via some good ol' fashioned humor.
"Blending in is usually needed for people trying to be sneaky that can't do it on their own," he offered, "I can be sneaky without it. Apparently enough to dress like a circus tent."
