"Good to hear I guess," Selina spoke softly, raising a hand to her goggles and lifting them from her eyes.
She wanted to see him without the red tint and her eyes blinked rapidly as she removed the lenses, the sudden chill breeze making them water a little. It was nice to take them off actually, and she knew that it wouldn't bother him - after all, he knew who she was. Her Gotham pallor had all but gone, he face touched by the sun. Not tanned per se, but freckled over the bridge of her nose ever so slightly. The freckles on her back and shoulders were the most irritating, she'd even thought about looking into some kind of cream to make them disappear - but Leslie had convinced her that a little sun had done her the world of good, so they stayed, a reminder of her time away.
Selina worried that her eyes would betray something as she looked over what she could see of his face. Her eyes lingered a little too long on his lips before she glanced down over his chest plate, holding herself back from reaching out to touch that bat symbol emblazoned there.
"After all, I'm here to make the world a more interesting place." Her eyebrow flicked slightly as she looked back up again to meet his stare.
