Selina let out a low chuckle in reply, she'd take that as a yes - the wave of a smile on his face only confirming it. If she'd been braver she would have told him very matter of factly that she'd certainly missed him. That she'd been a coward to run away. That she regretted everything. But she thought better off it deciding instead to let the moment pass. Though, of course he knew where she'd been hiding. She wouldn't have expected any less from him. He hadn't interfered though, she hadn't heard a word from him, or any Gotham resident actually, the whole time she'd been abroad. The six months had been an enjoyable rest bite from her real life.
"It's beautiful actually." she replied, taking a couple of steps towards him. "So different from Gotham."
The dry warm air, the smells, the people. They were all so different. Softer almost. But different wasn't better, not for Selina. The pickings were easy out there, diamond and gold exchanges were plentiful. The people, the criminals - had never seen anything like her before. She had been an enigma and a menace. They'd called her 'The Black Cat.' She'd enjoyed the chance to be anonymous and to be special - to be the only one wearing a mask.
"How's she been without me?" Selina gestured at the city scape. "Not too much trouble I hope?"
