Selina was too focused on what was going on down below on the main street to first notice the light, but a slight tilt of the head was all that was needed to bring it into her sights, an annoying green slither that seemed to bother her peripheral vision. She turned slightly, her body swivelling away from the edge of the building, turning her head around to peer into the darkness, following the thin line of light down into the shadows below in the alley.
The light was green, and that was her first clue. She may have been away for six months but she hadn't forgotten. How could she? The city and it's rouges were imprinted on her like a brand. Green. Eddie. Lovely, nerdy, every so slightly annoying Eddie. But what was he doing on the in the east end tonight all alone? And why was he trying to get her attention? Selina smirked a little, looking down into the alley, following the thin line of light. Gracefully she lowered herself down onto the fire escape, using it as a spring board to jump down the few floors to the ground, landing with a small oomf.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are..." she almost sang the words, her head tilted to one side and a grin on her lips. Her hips swayed as she moved further into the darkness, the solitary street lamp lighting her path.
