Who: James and Jemma What: James is slowly making amends with some of the people he messed with as Winter Soldier Where: Jemma's apartment When: Evening July 31 Status: In Progress Rating: Should be on the low side
Deep down, James knew he would never, never be clean of what he had done as the Winter Soldier. He had started to make amends with Wheels by getting her the best servers he could find along with bullet resistant glass. He had millions stashed away from his time as a freelance agent after all. After doing that with Wheels, he had contacted Steve and spoken with him over the phone. He was still unsure if he should meet his old friend in person or not. He didn't want to disappoint Steve. That was something that had never changed since he had recovered his memories of who he really was. Or had been at least. But there was one other person in New York he needed to say sorry to for what he'd done. He just hoped his dropping in on her again wouldn't get her into trouble.
So he had gone to Jemma's apartment (amused too that she had tried to move and what not to keep him out. Adorable) and had once again easily broken in through the window. He wore no mask this time and had gotten his hair cut shorter. But he knew she would recognize him. How many people had metal arms after all? He was still dressed in his old Winter Soldier gear he had first shown up to her first apartment in as well and armed to the teeth. Some habits died hard.
After getting in through the window, he looked around the room and knocked on the wall loudly. "Anyone home?' he called out, hoping he hadn't missed her. He could wait the night if he needed but he didn't want to stay in one place for too long. He was still convinced that the Russians were going to stay after him for a while, memory or no.
