That particular strategy worked for enough superheros against enough criminals and villains - usually the ones with dubious levels of sanity, though sometimes the small-time crooks ran at the mouth to try and sound more important than they were - for Maria to just smile a little in recognition of that valid strategy from the Arrow Clan and/or SHIELD. It faded a little, though, as they moved on to the immediate use of it. "And if he wouldn't during a fight, then goading him in interrogation isn't likely to have him bragging to us, either."
Maria met Connor's uncanny eyes for just a moment, acknowledging the point, though she did have to argue, for form, "If they are as small a cult as you make them sound, it is entirely possible that they aren't major players in the scope of the underworld; yes, they start fights and can be hired as assassins, but so do the Hand, or the League of Assassins."
Still. She didn't like something new biting her on the ass; she studied Connor a moment more, and it might have been his politeness more than anything that had her nodding. "If your partners can spare you, it would certainly be useful to fill in a blank spot in our records or find out what this one was up to, if nothing else."
